Research Study to explore symptom management of Multiple Myeloma

A Research Study (funded by a HRB Cancer Nursing Grant) is being conducted which aims to explore symptom management in patients with a known diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma who have had at least one previous treatment.

This study will involve participating in a 1 hour focus group to explore your experiences of living with symptoms or adverse events associated with a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma.

The aims of this study are to: 1. Develop a tool that will enable both patients and health care professionals to manage the symptoms or adverse events associated with myeloma; 2. Identify what Health Care Professionals can do for you, which may enable you to proactively self manage symptom burden at home.
